Ding dong the Kin is dead! Yep you read that right after a mere six weeks of being on the market Microsoft is dropping the support for the smart phone wanna be Kin. It was a nice idea and it definitely had the tween market potential to be a Sidekick winner but it had just a few too many obstacles to overcome. I had my choice of a few stories in the tech world that I could write about today but I figured I would go with this major FAIL by MS and Verizon for this tech blog today.

We live in an ever growing world of obsolescence technologies and our basements and attics are stuffed with our old TVs, computers, stereos, printers and anything else that is electronic. For years people either dumped their old electronics in the garbage which I hope we all know by now is a terrible mistake that is poisonous to our environment. So don’t do it! You know who you are! Anyway thankfully stuffing our old tech junk in a dark corner of our home to be forgotten is no longer the only option for a lot of states.
